Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Saskatoon, SK, with the flexibility for some remote work. As a project management leader and professional you will be responsible for project management ranging from small to large projects. Duties could include project management, stakeholder engagement, scheduling, and/or cost control.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Scheduling: Lead the development of project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles to project success and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively. Monitor project progress, anticipate issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
Process Improvement: Apply industrial engineering principles and methodologies to analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions for optimization. Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
Data Analysis and Decision-Making: Utilize data analytics and statistical tools to analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Translate insights into actionable recommendations for process improvement and resource optimization.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including senior leadership, team members, and external partners. Communicate project status, milestones, and key deliverables effectively, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
5 to 15 years+ of applicable project management experience in industrial/mining environments; advanced degree or professional certification in project management is a plus.
Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Key Knowledge & Experience
5 to 15 years+ of experience is required for the position. Prior industry experience in engineering, and/or construction is essential.
Salary Range
$91,000 - $160,000
