Engcomp and Des Nedhe Constructors Announce Agreement
Engcomp and Des Nedhe Constructors Group are pleased to share that we are moving forward on an agreement that will see Engcomp become part of the Des Nedhe Constructors group (DNC) of companies. This will position Engcomp to become a majority First Nations owned engineering firm, one of the largest of its kind in Canada.
L-R: Jason Mewis, President (Engcomp), Garry Doepker, SVP Operations (Engcomp), Nick Wright, VP Marketing & Technology (Engcomp), Mike Silvernagle, Chief Operating Officer (Des Nedhe Group), Sean Willy, Chief Executive Officer (Des Nedhe Group)
This integration is the deliberate next step in delivering the unified vision set out by DNC: Building a vertically aligned, Indigenous owned construction and engineering organization with national reach and sector leading capability.
Engcomp’s established track record in consulting engineering, combined with the construction, fabrication, field services and project delivery strength within the Des Nedhe Constructors group of companies, creates a differentiated end to end value proposition for clients across Canada. Operational alignment between our teams has already begun. We are preparing to scale into new markets, new industries and larger, more complex project environments.
This move is not a departure, it’s an acceleration. It’s the next step in building a modern Indigenous owned EPC / EPCM style group that delivers excellence, innovation and long term prosperity for our partners and communities.
We look forward to sharing more as Engcomp and Des Nedhe Constructors advance this work and continue executing on the mission we committed to.
